Team Hong Kong delivered an exceptional performance at the 12th National Games for Persons with Disabilities, co‑hosted by Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao, winning 11 gold, 23 silver and 26 bronze medals for a total of 60. This remarkable achievement set a new record for Hong Kong.

The team excelled in swimming, with Chan Yui-lam claiming triple gold in the S14 women’s 100m backstroke, 100m butterfly, and SM14 women’s 200m individual medley events. Swimmers Cheung Tsun-lok, Cheung Ho-ying, and Lau Chiu-yee also secured gold in the S14 men’s 100m butterfly, SB14 women’s 100m breaststroke, and S14 women’s 200m freestyle events respectively. The boccia events, hosted by Hong Kong, saw remarkable breakthroughs. Leung Yuk-wing first clinched the men’s singles BC4 championship and later paired with his teammate Tang Zhijiang to win the doubles title. Yeung Hiu-lam triumphed in the women’s singles BC2 event, while Cheung Yuen partnered with Lau Wai-yan to win the women’s doubles BC4 event. In addition, para table tennis player Wong Hon-lam teamed up with Pang Wing-ka to top the podium in the XD14 mixed doubles event.
