Hong Kong fencing team won 1 gold, 3 silver and 8 bronze medals at the Asian Under 23 Fencing Championships held in Kazakhstan. Among all, Hsieh Sin-yan claimed the title in the women's epee individual event and took bronze in the team event with Chan Tsz-ching, Fong Sum and Lai Hiu-tung.
