Rowing Team Wins 4 Medals at Asian Championships

The Hong Kong rowing team returned with 1 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze medal from the 19th Asian Rowing Championships held in South Korea. Rower Chan Chi-fung partnered with Chiu Hin-chun to win the men’s lightweight double sculls title. The duo also teamed up with Lam San-tung and Wong Wai-chun to take silver in the men’s lightweight quadruple sculls event. In addition, the men’s team comprising Chau Yee-ping, Ho Chak-lung, Wong Ho-yin and Wong Wai-lok succeeded in capturing another silver in the men’s lightweight four event, while Lam San-tung and Wong Wai-chun took bronze in the men’s open pair.
