Hong Kong team achieved a historic milestone at the 15th National Games, co‑hosted by Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao, with an impressive haul of 19 medals — 9 gold, 2 silver, and 8 bronze. Sailor Nicholas Halliday captured Hong Kong’s first gold at this edition of the Games in the men’s ILCA 7 event. Lee Sze-wing delivered an outstanding performance, bringing home three gold medals—defending her women’s road cycling individual title, winning the women’s omnium, and teaming up with Leung Wing-yee to earn gold in the women’s madison. Furthermore, swimmer Siobhan Haughey swept the women’s 100m and 200m freestyle events, while Ho Yentou triumphed in the men’s 50m freestyle event. The men’s foil team and the rugby sevens men's team topped the podium for the first time in the Games history.
