Para table tennis team brought home the first medal from the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games in the fourth competition day. The 17-year-old paddler Wong Ting-ting overcame the Rio Paralympic champion in the women's singles TT11 event and advanced to thesemi-final with two wins out of the three pool contests, and finished the event with a bronze medal losing to world number one Russian Paralympic Committee opponent.
