Jockey Club Athlete Incentive Awards Scheme Offers Cash Incentives to Outstanding Athletes at the 5th Asian Para Games

The HKSI and The Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC) launched a new cycle of the Jockey Club Athlete Incentive Awards Scheme (the Scheme) in 2026, continuing to encourage and honour Hong Kong, China athletes by providing cash incentives for their outstanding achievements at Major Games.
The new cycle covers several Multi-sport Games, including the upcoming 5th Asian Para Games, scheduled to be held from 18 to 24 October 2026 across multiple cities in Japan, including Nagoya in Aichi Prefecture. The cash incentives for Hong Kong medallists at this Games are listed as follows (HK$):

The HKSI thanks the HKJC for its continued support in fostering the development of elite sports, including Para sports, in Hong Kong and recognising local athletes through the Scheme. The HKSI wishes the athletes success in unleashing their full potential and delivering outstanding performances at the Games.
Athlete Incentive Awards Scheme
Established by the HKSI in 1994, the Athlete Incentive Awards Scheme offers cash incentives to outstanding local athletes competing at Major Games, recognising their dedication and achievements.
In 2026, the HKJC and HKSI launched a new cycle of the Jockey Club Athlete Incentive Awards Scheme, building on the success of the 2023-26 cycle, during which more than 220 athletes received incentive awards totalling over HK$94.66 million. The new cycle continues to provide financial incentives to recognise outstanding performances by Hong Kong, China athletes at the Olympic Games, Paralympic Games, World University Games, Winter World University Games, Asian Games, Asian Para Games and National Winter Games.
