HKCC promotes Coaching Awards and local coach education through RoadShow

The 2009 Hongkong Bank Foundation (HBF) Coaching Awards Presentation was successfully held on 16 May to recognise coaches from the community to elite levels for their achievements over the past year. For the Award results and details of the Presentation luncheon, please click here.

To let the public understand the importance of coaches and their contribution to local sports development, the Hong Kong Coaching Committee (HKCC) produced a series of info-programmes about the HBF Coach Education Programme, the HBF Coaching Awards and its Presentation Ceremony on 16 May, and aired from 12 May to early June on public buses equipped with RoadShow. In addition, a number of coaches and athletes also shared their personal experience and benefit from quality coaching.

This book is ideal for physiotherapists, physiatrists, orthopedists, medical students, practitioners and all those involved in sports medicine and clinical massage.
 
Starting triathlon

It helps novice athletes capitalise on their strengths and address their weaknesses through a systematic approach to planning and analyzing the training and competition programme. Clear guidance on nutrition and lifestyle balance are also provided. Those who are considering to become triathletes will surely find this new book valuable.
