Kwok Ho-ting attends Canon environmental event |
In recent years, more and more organisations have proactively participated in low-carbon and environmental campaigns. With the cycling sport widely considered as a perfect match with environmental-friendly initiatives, Canon Hongkong Company Limited recently invited world champion cyclist Kwok Ho-ting to visit the Eco Expo Asia, as well as to officiate at its kick-off ceremony on 26 October to arouse public attention to environmental sustainability. |

Fung Wing-see supports “Happy Angels”

Wushu athlete Fung Wing-see gave her full support to the Amway “Happy Angels” – Children Mental Health Nurturing Project by officiating at the kick-off ceremony on 8 October. The event was organised by The Boys’ & Girls’ Clubs Association of Hong Kong, where Fung shared her experience with the children, parents and volunteers in attendance, as well as demonstrated warm-up exercises to bring out a positive life attitude to the audience. |

Prescriptive stretching

This book introduces a stretch method which is called Proprioceptive Muscular Facilitation (PMF), also known as contract-release. It involves stretching the muscle to the end point, relaxing, tightening the muscle without moving, relaxing again and then stretching towards a new end point, and repeats the movement several times. It explains 40 step-by-step stretches with full-colour anatomical illustrations and features a pain relief section in the final chapter. It is recommended to sport enthusiasts and anyone with muscle discomfort. |
