Guidelines for Article Request Service (Overseas Libraries)

The Sports Library is pleased to provide overseas users Article Request Service for books and journals that are being held by the Sports Library. Before submitting your request, you are welcome to check the Sports Library Online Catalogue for the availability of required materials. Request form is available in PDF and WORD format for download.

Copyright

For copies made without permission of copyright holders, requesters must observe the following guidelines:

• The copies should be used for the purposes of research or private study only.
• Only one article in the same issue of a periodical can be made.
• Only one copy of the same article should be made.
• For published work, one single copy of a reasonable proportion, about 10% of a published work can be made.
   

For related copyright issues, please refer to the Copyright Ordinance (Cap. 528) of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government Bilingual Law Information System (BLIS).
