Elite karatedo athlete and also a Lingnan University graduate, Lai Shuet-yan (left) shared how she had struggled between sports training and academic study. She was also planning to turn into a full-time athlete and pursue further study through this Programme. Full-time elite athletes and graduates of Lingnan Fong Kit-fung (rugby) and Wong Cheuk-lee (karatedo) also shared, through video-taped interviews, that the collaboration would mark great importance to athletes’ whole-person development.
