Gym Rules

  1. All athletes and users of the Fitness Training Centre (FTC) must sign in and out at the attendance book located near the front entrance.
  2. All athletes should use the FTC during their specified training period.
  3. Proper training attire should be worn by athletes and coaches at all times while in the FTC.
  4. Sweat should promptly be wiped off the machines after each use.
  5. Weights must be returned to racks immediately after use. Do not leave weights on the bar or scattered on the floor at any time.
  6. Do not work out too close to mirrors.
  7. No eating or gum chewing in the gym.
  8. Absolutely no playing around.
  9. All dumbbells and equipment must be returned to their original place after use.
  10. All borrowed equipment, i.e. medicine balls or jump ropes, must be signed out with the Strength Coach in charge before taking outside.
  11. Paper drinking cups should be thrown into the rubbish bin.
  12. No casual observers are allowed without permission of a Strength Coach. Absolutely no unattended children allowed in the FTC.
  13. All bags and personal gear should not be left on the floor where others may fall over them.
  14. Athletes not under the direct supervision of the FTC Strength Coaches may not receive permission to use the gym facility in the absence of their respective coaches.
  15. All athletes using the FTC should turn off mobile phone and pagers when entering the FTC. The FTC is for serious training only.
