The twin objectives of the SCEP are to improve the quality of coaches working with primary and secondary school teams, and to provide opportunities for them to obtain formal training and accreditation.

• Hongkong Bank Foundation School Coach Accreditation Programme

The Hongkong Bank Foundation School Coach Accreditation Programme (SCAP), initiated by the HKCC in July 1998, is a programme jointly offered by the HKCC and NSAs.

To date, over 600 school teachers from more than 380 primary and secondary schools have participated in badminton, basketball, gymnastic, handball, table tennis and volleyball.

• Hongkong Bank Foundation School Coach Continuing Education Programme

The programme takes the form of 2-day workshops. It provides school coaches who have attained a school coach certificate from the Hongkong Bank Foundation School Coach Accreditation Programme with an opportunity to learn about the latest developments in coaching, and to share coaching experiences with each other.
