Sports Scholarship Scheme

Hong Kong was a world leader in athlete support when this project was launched in 1987. The Scheme provides a comprehensive support system comprising monthly stipends and in-kind support such as coaching, technical services, facilities, food and other necessities of life for high performance athletes searching for international success.

The Scheme supports outstanding athletes in Elite Sports, and extends to outstanding individual athletes in Development Sports, including Disabled Sports.
