Sports Training Courses
The Hong Kong Sports Institute Limited ("HKSIL") generates revenue from facilities and services surplus to the needs of elite training and the NSAs. This income not only helps to absorb fixed operating overheads but also makes a positive contribution to the overall HKSIL funding needs.
Whether you are a beginner or a budding athlete, there
is always a sports programme for you at the Hong Kong
Sports Institute Limited. A variety of progressive programmes
have been specially designed by professional coaches
to help improve your skills.
Courses in swimming, badminton, tennis,
table tennis, football, squash, basketball, judo,
taekwondo and tai-chi are organised
for participants of all ages
and abilities. Courses are
conducted in modules, allowing
participants to progress at
their own pace to higher levels
after acquiring essential
basic skills.
All sports courses are conducted
by experienced coaches or retired elite athletes who have professional qualification.
Swimming courses and other sports courses
are organised every 4 months and bi-monthly respectively.
