Biomedical Engineering in Sports Science

The promotion of interdisciplinary research and education in recent decades has brought about new areas of study, including biomedical engineering and sports science. When these interdisciplinary fields meet, another novel set of innovative technologies and applications is anticipated.This talk aims to use recent advancements in biomedical engineering, i.e. the development of wearable device and body sensor network technologies, and their applications in sports science, to stimulate discussion on the exciting mixture that can potentially be created from these two interdisciplinary fields of study.
